They say that experience is the best teacher but, when it comes to the realm of intimacy, there’s no harm in a little pre-education. Sex is a deeply personal journey, one that often carries a multi…
Top 4 Items from My Postpartum Stay at the Hospital
There were several useful items that I used during my postpartum stay at the hospital but there are 4 items that really stood out to me. These four items are:
- TENA mesh postpartum disposable underwear (provided by the hospital)
I told my friend that, if I could, I would personally invest in this company. These disposable mesh underwear by TENA were sooooo comfortable! I would give them a 15 out of 10! They were provided by the hospital, and I didn’t even end up using the disposable underwear that I had brought from home because the TENA ones were way too good! I even took some extra home with me from the hospital.
- Hospital postpartum pads
The hospital I was in also provided the TENA postpartum pads though, to be honest, I don’t know which exact pads they were as there are a few different postpartum pads available from this specific brand. They were the biggest pads I have seen in my life! They were so large that I didn’t have to worry about leaking and they were extremely comfortable. Here’s a photo:
- Hospital grade breast pump
Using a hospital grade breast pump in the early days of my postpartum journey greatly helped my breastfeeding journey overall! You can read more about my journey here.
My hospital provided the Ardo breast pump for rent and I loved it. Different hospitals provide different hospital grade pumps so don’t worry if your hospital has a different type!
- Fridamom upside down peri bottle
This peri bottle was great for freshening up down there during the early days of postpartum. I’d put warm water in it and spray it and I’d feel nice and fresh without having to bend low (especially since I’d had a c-section and found moving difficult). Definitely a must have!
