They say that experience is the best teacher but, when it comes to the realm of intimacy, there’s no harm in a little pre-education. Sex is a deeply personal journey, one that often carries a multi…
When Your Man Cums Too Fast
You’re not even two minutes in and, the next thing you know, he is shaking and trembling and suddenly he lets you know that he has cum. I can see the disappointment all over your face as you mutter under your breath “not again”. He is so embarrassed that he goes to shower and later goes to watch tv or decides to leave or go for a walk. You ask yourself why this keeps happening.
Premature ejaculation according to international standards is defined as ejaculating sooner than wanted after penetrating your partner. There are two types of premature ejaculation; primary and secondary ejaculation. Primary premature ejaculation refers to a condition where a man ejaculates after 3 minutes of penetration. Secondary premature ejaculation refers to a condition that is acquired after an injury or illness.
Primary premature ejaculation is caused by chemical imbalances and emotional/psychological factors. Some of these factors include things like bad sexual experiences from the past, depression, anxiety, stress and insecurities.
Secondary premature ejaculation is caused by both physical and psychological issues. This could include inflamed prostates and other diseases. It could also be due to injuries sustained from sports and other activities.
There are remedies for premature ejaculation though there is no permanent treatment for the issue. As a couple, it’s important to talk it through to find a solution. You could go see a sex therapist together to understand each other better and see what could be done to make sure that you are both sexually satisfied. Here are a few other tips you could try to help out with the issue:
- Use thick condoms while you have sex. This reduces the sensation around the penis and gives the man a little more time to enjoy himself and satisfy his partner.
- Try sex positions like cowgirl to allow the woman to have control over the movement during intercourse.
- Masturbate at least 1 or 2 hours before sex as this can help to delay ejaculation when you later have intercourse with your partner.
- Incorporate sex toys to help ensure that both you and your partner are sexually satisfied.
Premature ejaculation can be managed but there is no permanent solution. It’s important that the woman in the relationship has an open, honest discussion with her partner if she is not sexually satisfied as a result of his premature ejaculation. Sex is a major part of a healthy relationship so you both have to do the work (such as going to see a sex therapist) to ensure that both of your sexual needs continue to be met.
It’s important to note that premature ejaculation occurs from time to time in a large number of men (especially if they’re very excited – if you know what I mean). As long as it’s not a regular occurrence, it should be fine. If it does become a regular occurrence, then it might be time to seek out further assistance.
